The ideal candidate for this position should be comfortable managing a team, delegating tasks, and building strong relationships with clients and team members. Their main challenge will be setting boundaries with clients, such as defining timelines and manageable workloads, and establishing efficient processes. They will also need to stay responsive to tasks and queries from the local firm. We will trust you to:
- Involved in the process of preparing the financial statements.
- Preparing the draft tax calculations
- iXBRL filing in the UK and Ireland
- Maintaining the STAT ledger for local reporting requirements
- Assistance in the external audit process
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Managing a team and reviewing their work
- Any adhoc accounting related tasks as required by the client.
- Involved in monthly tasks, such as VAT returns.
Requirements
- Strong accounting background (minimum 3 - 5 years experience)
- Experience managing a team
- Willingness to learn
- Innovative (recognize opportunities to be more efficient) and take initiative.
- Self-starter and problem-solver
