Material Advisor (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent is currently seeking a Material Advisor to join their team in the Oil amp; Energy industry. As Material Advisor, you will be responsible for managing the material supply chain and logistics for various projects related to the Oil amp; Energy industry. You will ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of all materials, as well as oversee inventory management, supplier relationship management, and communication with cross-functional teams.

• Manage and coordinate material delivery for all projects related to the Oil amp; Energy industry.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are optimal.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high quality of materials and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.
• Develop and implement material management strategies that streamline operations and increase efficiency.
• Identify potential risks to the material supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
• Monitor and analyze material costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 9 years of experience in material management, preferably in the Oil amp; Energy industry.
• Fully familiar on procurement requirements such as Material requisition, PO placement, material expediting and delivery.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and solve complex material supply chain issues.
• Fully familiar on SAP applications and MS-Office (Excel, Word, Power point and Access) in addition to planning and communication skills
• Full knowledge of MTO development, Procurement plans and Spare Part Data Packages
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, and other relevant software.
