Ecologist (Saudi Arabia)

Eram Talent, a leading Talent Acquisition Consultancy with expertise in Oil and Energy industry, is seeking an experienced Ecologist to join our team. As an Ecologist, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company's environmental policies adhere to government regulations and sustainable practices.

If selected, the job location would be in Saudi Arabia.

• Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures that meet regulatory requirements.
• Conduct ecological surveys and assessments of new projects, including site selection, construction, and restoration activities.
• Ensure that all company activities comply with environmental regulations.
• Analyze the impact of new initiatives on the environment and make recommendations to minimize negative impacts.
• Manage environmental conservation projects, including the rehabilitation of degraded ecosystems and wildlife management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and/or community groups to ensure that environmental policies are understood and implemented effectively.
• Provide advice and technical support to management and field staff on environmental matters.

Requirements

• The candidate should have a masters / bachelors degree in ecology; should have an experience in ecological survey, monitoring re-introduction of species; and captive breeding.
• At least 8 years of working experience as an Ecologist in the Oil and Energy industry.
• Expertise in environmental regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with conservation techniques and practices.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
